ISPA Online - From the Editor
EDITOR’S NOTE
Hi everyone! Well as you can see when you read through this issue of our magazine that it is not very big. With the downturn in the economy a lot of businesses are cutting back on their advertising, which means fewer pages which means I was not able to put everything in that I received. I appreciate all of those that submitted something to the magazine. If you do not see it in this issue it can be located on our website at www.ispaonline.org .
The deadline for submissions for the next issue will be March 1st, 2009. Don’t wait until the last minute to send your submissions in. I accept them anytime. Send them to editor@ispaonline.org. Also if you know of a business that would be interested in advertising in the magazine please let us know or they can e-mail the publisher at info@graphicproductiondesign.com . Everyone can help spread the word. As an individual I can’t accomplish much but as a group we can accomplish a lot. The more people involved in the association the more powerful we become. If you don’t know what is going on in your chapter then take the first step and get involved! We need your help.
On another note our ISPA Merchandising has changed hands. We would like to give a special thank you to State Merchandiser Ken Yount and Steve Smith for the hard work and many hours that they put into setting up the new trailer, setting up vendors and sending out the merchandise. It is a hard and thankless job. Terry Murdock and his assistants from Chapter 6 have taken over the duties of ISPA Merchandising. Check the website at www.ispalonline.org to see what is available. To contact our state merchandiser send e-mail to shop@ispaonline.org .
Terry is currently working on items for ISP’s 75th Anniversary. Periodic updates will be posted on the website www.ispaonline.org .
I wish you all a safe and happy holiday season!
Your editor,
Marjorie Lusk
