ISPA Online - Chapter 6 News

(10/13/08) While Marjorie Lusk, in her capacity as ISPA Magazine Editor and Chapter 6 Secretary/Treasurer, was in Meridian for the ISPA 2008 Fall Board Meeting, her daugher Sarah flew in to the Idaho Falls Airport from Iraq. She is serving there with the US Army and is home on leave. Because of Marjorie's sacrifice for ISPA in missing Sarah's arrival, Captain Bunderson lead a small delegation of ISP Personnel to meet Sarah at the airport. Here are two photos from the event. Watch here for updates (or corrections) to this information.

(07/31/07) On July 21, 2007 at approximately 1326 hours, Trooper Nelson responded with Deputy Davenport (Bonneville County Sheriff's Office) to the report of an alligator on County Line Rd just west of Lewisville Hwy. An approximately 3 1/2 foot live alligator was located on the roadway and in the yard of a residence on County Line.  A passerby was able to get a rope around the alligators neck then Trooper Nelson cautiously advanced upon the alligator from behind grabbing the alligator's mouth and snout area, holding it closed and restraining the alligator while Deputy Davenport used electrical tape to secure the alligator's mouth shut.  Hobble restraints were then used to take the alligator into custody and it was then transported by patrol car to the Idaho Falls Zoo where it was quarantined by zoo officials.  The brush with certain and imminent death was caught by still photography, in-car camera, and home video. Here is a photo of the "alleged" gator.
